"Who is searching for an angel
and only watches for the wings could bring a goose back home" Georg Christoph Lichtenberg (1742-1799), German physicist and Lord of aphorism or "A good horse never has the wrong colour" Before you buy a horse We neither see our ponies as an object, toy nor lawn-mower. They are animals which demand species-appropriate keeping and loving care with responsibility. They too have a right on education! A good pony has no special colour - the only important thing is if you as owner can deal with it. You should not buy a pony because you like the colour but it maybe has a bad character. Please spend some thoughts if you want to buy a breeding pony, a riding pony or a leisure pony. A question on money? Before you buy a pony please check up your budget und private possibilities, to give a pony an appropriate home. You not even have to pay the sales price, you even have to pay the living support (food, water, stable charge...), even think about the health care (teeth control, hooves, worming...). You can save some later higher costs (for example Vet costs) if you spent some more money in buying a health and strong pony. Some people believe they are buying only a "Minature", so it should not cost more than a hamster. But believe me ... everything like a worming, teeth control, hoof control or vaccination even costs the same as a big horse. There is no advantage even a miniature eats less hay than a horse and its poopoo is smaller... also halters, saddles, bridles and driving harnesses aren´t cheaper because they are smaller - no, they are even more expensive because it is a special order. Advice for free We give our advice for free and you can come and watch oure sales ponies for free and you don´t have to buy them if you don´t like them. What use has a Miniature pony? A Miniature pony/horse is as challenging as a big riding horse. The are no lawn-mowers, if they are mostly be said. In some countries you can see sports tours with the smallest breeds ever, in Germany you find the IGS Tour. The Minis can be leaded, driven, ridden or showed. You can show long rein dressage, speed races, driven dressage or ridden. Don´t forget, they are intelligent and strong! Miniatures´ living support... Our bookkeeping tells us that a Miniature pony costs about € 50 a month without stable leasing (we have our own). This costs enclose: VET, worming, teeth care, hoof care, hay, water, special feeding, land leasing, costs breeding society, costs, dues, halter.
