Merkur (Mikado) vom Weserstein |
We bought Merkur as a yearling colt. A beautiful buckskin&white youngster with nice character. It´s a pity that we as young breeder listened to the words of elder breeder and thought he would grow out of miniature measure. So we sold him to a beautiful and beloved home where he still is a happy boy with nice girls and beautiful foals. He had 82cm as a yearling colt and got his license with three years at 84cm height. So this is the best example not to feel panic if a foal is growing much during the first year of life.
We have a beautiful filly foal out of our mare Arielle by him: Bavaria Thursday of Love.
